Nunieh while speaking with newsmen after the Investigative Committee set-up to probe allegations of financial recklessness against the NDDC at the National Assembly, alleged that Akpabio forced her into taking an oath before contracts were signed in the Commission.
She claimed that the Minister of Niger-Delta Affairs vowed to remove her from the appointment because of her stance to discourage corruption in the NDDC.
But a member of the current Committee of NDDC, Caroline Nagbo countered Joy Nunieh’s allegation, emphasizing that no oath was taking by any appointee into the NDDC.
