National Industrial Court in Port Harcourt Adjourns Matter between Sacked Chairman of Rivers State Local Government Service Commission and Governor

Justice AMAH, who is presiding over the matter, said all pending objections and the substantive suit will be heard on the next adjourned date.
Our correspondent VICTOR EZEAMA reports that other parties joined in the matter include the Rivers State Government, the State Attorney General, the Speaker and the Rivers State House of Assembly.
Speaking to newsmen outside the courtroom, counsel to the plaintiff, D.E EKENNA said he had not been served with the notice of preliminary objection raised by the state counsel, FRANK OYIRI.
On his part; J.J JOHNSON who is counsel to the Speaker and the House of Assembly, shared his thought on the progress of the matter since 2015.
Governor NYESOM WIKE had in 2015 dissolved the board of the Rivers State Local Government Service Commission headed by WOKEKORO based on the resolution of the State House of Assembly.
