National Chairman, Peoples Democratic party Uche Secondus urges party organs to resist temptation of changing the current leadership of the party

Addressing members of the Board of Trustees, BOT, of the party at the national secretariat in Abuja on Thursday, Secondus acknowledged that those faulting his management style are entitled to do so, but pleaded that misunderstandings should be resolved internally.

Secondus also stressed the importance for the party to quickly handle the problems facing it.

Meanwhile, the party has opted for further consultations with PDP Governors, National Assembly members, the National Working Committee, former governors, former ministers to resolve it crisis.

In the meantime, the Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Prince Diran Odeyemi has withdrawn his resignation from office, vowing to work with the National Chairman. Prince Uche Secondus led party’s National Working Committee to ensure a successful National Convention. 

Odeyemi, who was among the seven Deputy National officers that tendered their resignation on Tuesday, said in a letter that his decision to withdraw his resignation was taken because of the activation of the internal method of resolving issues by our leaders across the length and breadth of Nigeria.
