Members of the two chambers of the National Assembly are returning to plenary with a number of issues to tackle amid growing agitations by various sections of the country.
Some of the highlights expected from the Senate include the passage of the three remaining components of the Petroleum Industry Bills.
The spokesman for the Senate, Senator SABI ABDULLAHI said Nigerians should also expect the passage of social justice and employment related bills.
Senator ABDULLAHI said there would also be an opportunity for senators to share the views of their constituents based on interactions during the recess.
The Senate’s spokesman, in a statement, also assured that the Senate would accommodate the views of Nigerians in all of its activities.
It is also expected that the Senator-elect for Rivers East Senatorial District, Chief ANDREW UCHENDU of the All Progressives Congress would be sworn-in to take his seat in the upper chamber of the National Assembly.
