NAPTIP launches investigation into slavery practice at islamic center in Kaduna

Director-General of NAPTIP, JULIE OKAH-DONLI, who made the assertion during in interaction with the media, said those in charge of the House in Rigasa, Kaduna Central are merely hiding under the guise of religion to enslave innocent people.

 

The NAPTIP DG, Julie Okah-Donli who revealed that an investigation has been launched into the activities to identify the administrators of the facility, established a case of sodomy and modern slavery.

 

You would recall that a joint team of the police and the army had on Thursday stormed a building which the owners alleged is an Islamic rehabilitation center, where more than three children were chained, made to fast, sexually abused and were also said be undergoing some form of indoctrination.
