Commandant Igwebueze stated this when the leadership of the Movement for the Survival of Ogoni People led by Festus Legbara paid him a visit.
The Rivers State NSCDC boss acknowledged that the Nigeria’s history will not be complete without the immense contributions of Ogoni people.
Commandant Igwebueze stressed on the need to the people to consciously embrace peace and unity as a nation by annexing all resources and putting aside all their differences.
He also harped on the need for the Ogoni to unite and work together in peace so as to actualise their desires and legitimate agitations.
Earlier in his address, the President General of MOSOP, Festus Legbara pleaded with the NSCDC to consider Ogoni youths in their recruitment of the personnel in the coastal states.
