Moroccan prosecutors are seeking jail terms of up to two years for 18 Senegalese football fans accused of causing disturbances during the AFCON final.
The fans have been held in pre-trial detention since January 18. Prosecutors told the court that some of the defendants deliberately sought to disrupt the proper conduct of the match, and they are seeking the maximum penalty for those involved.
The defendants, however, have denied any wrongdoing.
