Today FM gathered that late Ekine, who was a resident of Mile two Diobu Port Harcourt, was reported missing by his parents.
A source privy to the incident, told Today FM that the corpse of the teenage boy was seen floating on the river by a boat driver, who informed his parents and upon arrival at the scene, they confirmed it was their missing son.
The spokesperson of the Rivers State Police Command, Grace Iringe-Koko has confirmed the incident, saying the parents of the teenager who did not indicate interest in the case have buried their Son.
