The Minister said the Code would remain suspended pending a detailed review, extensive consultation with stakeholders and reconstitution of the board of the FRC.
He also assured that government remained committed to restoring and enhancing market confidence and improving the ease of doing business in Nigeria.
OKECHUKWU ENELAMAH noted that government considers the Financial Reporting Council as a core institution and was committed to strengthening and enhancing its capacity to fulfill its mandate.
