Mile One market Traders heads to court over market extension demolition.

The Chairman of the association, KENNETH EZE, gave this indication while reacting to a statement by the Special Adviser to the Rivers Governor on Lands and Survey, ANUGBUM ONUOHA, that hoodlums were using the market stalls as hideout.

KENNETH EZE told our correspondent UCHENDU EJIOWHOR that the State Government was trying to cover up what he described as inhuman treatment against the traders.

EZE said the government cannot be allowed to treat traders like criminals without being challenged through legal means.

The chairman of the Mile One Traders Association also disclosed that he has been receiving series of threats but vowed not to give up in fighting for justice for his members.
