Microsoft has announced that it will raise prices for its Microsoft 365 and Office subscription plans for business and government clients starting July 1, 2026.
The company said the price adjustment reflects new features added to its productivity suite, including AI tools, improved security, and enhanced enterprise support.
The increase varies by plan: Business Basic will rise to $7 per user per month, Business Standard to $14, and enterprise plans such as Microsoft 365 E3 and E5 will also see moderate increases. Frontline worker plans may see higher increases.
This is Microsoft’s first major global price increase for Microsoft 365 commercial subscriptions since 2022.
