Men of the Joint Task Force code-named Operation Pulo Shield have shot dead two suspected cult leaders at Rumuekpe community in Emohua, Rivers State.Our correspondent reports that one of the cultist known as ORGILI and his colleague were trailed by JTF troops after they received supply of arms.
A source close to the community who confirmed the incident to our correspondent said ORGILI and his group have been terrorizing Rumuekpe community, killing, harassing and intimidating residents and businesses operating around the area.
Our source confirmed that the security operatives took the remains of the slain cultists with them, while inhabitants of Rumuekpe greeted the development with jubilation.
