Few days after some key members tendered their resignation letters to the party, some members in Ikwerre Local Government Area have also dumped the party for the Accord Party.
The leader of the defectors, Amadi Kingsley who spoke to newsmen said their decision to join the Accord party followed the vision of the party which is people oriented.
Kingsley pledged to work for the victory of the Accord party in the forthcoming 2023 general election especially because of the competence of the governorship candidate, Dumo Lulu-Briggs.
On his part, the State Deputy Chairman of Accord Party, Amagbere Jamabo, who received the defectors, assured that the new members shall be carried along in the affairs of the party.
