Liberians Vote in Presidential Election with Twenty Candidates on Parade

The candidates include former World Footballer of the Year, GEORGE OPONG-WEAH and incumbent Vice President, JOSEPH BOAKAI.
The list of twenty presidential candidates also includes ALEX CUMMINGS, a former Coca-Cola executive, and MACDELLA COOPER, an ex-model and girlfriend of GEORGE WEAH.
The presidential election is holding simultaneously with parliamentary polls, with some two point two million people expected to take part in the ballot.
The outgoing President who is a Nobel Peace laureate, who is also Africa’s first elected female president have urged the people to vote peacefully.
