Reports say gunmen stormed the school and abducted ten students, but four were later released after profiling of their parents.
Police believe the kidnappers entered the school through a swampy forest, and cutting a hole in part of the school fence.
The abduction of students of Igbonla Model College is the second in seven months, after a similar incident in October last year.
