The Kwara State Government has confirmed the release of 38 worshippers who were abducted by bandits from the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) in Eruku.
Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq announced their release in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, on Sunday.
While the governor expressed relief at their safe return, the statement did not reveal details on how the abductees regained their freedom.
