This comes ahead of the November 16 Governorship elections in both states.
The APC National Chairman, Adams Oshimhole, during his address at the inauguration, which held at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja, charged the campaign councils to work towards ensuring victory for the party in the two states.
OSHIMHOLE specifically said that the people of Bayelsa have never really determined their leaders because their votes never counted, saying that In Bayelsa people will be turned to elect a man that will make a difference and will demonstrate that in a genuine democracy.
OSHIMHOLE stressed the need for the people to vote in a man who can connect to very ordinary people, understand and live with their people, share the joy, pain and aspirations of the people, even if they do not have the history of a political dynasty can rise to become a governor which he claim is the character APC candidate in Bayelsa.
Governor El Rufai and Badaru on their part pledged to deliver on their mandates.
