Today FM gathered that the armed criminals blocked the Evekwu axis of the road about 7pm on Sunday, shooting sporadically before abducting two of their targets who were driving a private car.
A source from the area who confirmed the incident to Today FM said it took the intervention of members of local vigilante who were later joined by military personnel to chase out the kidnappers on the expressway.
