The authorities in Khana Local Government Area have issued a one-week ultimatum to all individuals occupying or in possession of government property to vacate immediately.
The directive covers official vehicles, government houses, staff quarters, and land property, according to a statement signed by Government Tigidam, Special Adviser to the Chairman of Khana Local Government Council on Recovering Government Property.
Tigidam noted that the order also applies to retired civil servants still residing in staff quarters, individuals in possession of government vehicles, and those farming on government-owned land.
He warned that failure to comply with the directive would result in forcible eviction or embarrassment by Khana council officials.
