Kenya’s Supreme Court Fails to Sit on Petition Against Tomorrow’s Re-Run Presidential Election

This is because of the inability of the court to form a quorum, as only Chief Justice DAVID MARAGA and one of his colleagues were present in court.
Chief Justice MARAGA told reporters that the five other judges could not make it to court for various reasons.
Following the development; there is no longer any impediment to the conduct of the repeat presidential election tomorrow, which was ordered by the Supreme Court in a judgment last month, nullifying the previous poll in August.
