Kenya President Shuns Crisis Meeting Ahead of Presidential Rerun

The Chairman of the Independent Electoral and Boundary Commission, WAFULA CHEBUKATI, called the meeting against the backdrop of rising tensions.
Following the development, the meeting which was slated for today in the capital Nairobi, has been postponed indefinitely.
This is coming on the heels of the call for mass demonstrations on the day of the rerun on 26th October by the main opposition coalition candidate, RAILA ODINGA, who withdrew from the race last week.
