Keke riders in Port Harcourt accuse leader of interfering in their activities

The Chairman of the Keke Riders in Woji, Artillery, Oginigba-Slaughter Area, Justice Chukwungba who spoke when he led members in a protest to the office of a human Rights Activist in Port Harcourt said the keke riders association are not in any crisis which was the reason cited by the council for the suspension of the of Keke riders leadership.

 

Chukwungba while asking the council chairman to steer away from the activities of the keke riders called on Governor Nyesom Wike and human rights groups to prevail on the matter.

 

 

Addressing the group, a Port Harcourt based Human Rights Advocate, O.C Higher-King cautioned the Obio-Akpor Council Chairman against carrying out any action that could amount to violation of human Rights.

 

 

Reacting to the allegations, the Obio-Akpor Council Chairman, Solomon said the suspension of the leadership of the Keke was necessitated by the crisis among them.
