In a statement issued at the end of its emergency National Executive Council meeting, JUSUN described the arrest of the judges as illegal.
The union also commended the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice MAHMUD MOHAMMED on the manner he responded to the issue.
It urged judicial officers and staffs across the country to remain firm and resolute in the discharge of their lawful duties without fear of intimidation.
JUSUN further directed all its branches and chapters across the country to convene emergency congresses with a view to mobilizing members to wait for further directives.
Similarly, the Rivers State branch of JUSUN commended Rivers State Governor NYESOM WIKE for his support in defence of the judiciary.
It also commended Governor WIKE for providing logistics for judicial officers in the state for the easy discharge of their duties.
