Justices AUGIE and EKO are joining the Supreme Court at a time the Nigerian Judiciary is facing the challenge of weeding off corrupt elements from the system.
The Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice MAHMUD MOHAMMED who presided over the swearing-in ceremony in Abuja, charged them to uphold their oath and to deliver justice without fear or favour.
Justice MOHAMMED said it important for the jurists to be firm, honest and steadfast in the discharge of their duties.
He equally challenged them to emulate past Justices of the Supreme Court who left indelible marks in the judiciary by enthroning the rule of law and respect for the courts.
