TRUNER, who is currently detained at Port Harcourt Prison in Rivers State is being investigated by the anti-graft agency for alleged involvement in a case of obtaining money by false pretence, money laundering and abuse of office.
He is also being investigated for being in possession of funds running into two billion naira allegedly drained from the Niger Delta Development Commission while serving there as an Adviser on Youths between 2012 and 2015.
TURNER in a letter to the EFCC has given the anti-graft agency seven days to pay him hundred million naira compensation and tender public apology to him for what he described as a media trial that had tarnished his image.
At the expiration of the ultimatum, Turner in the letter dated May 30, 2017, threatened to slam ten billion naira defamation suit on the commission.
