He gave the counsel in a New Year message titled ‘Happy New Year, Nigerians and friends across the world.’
According to him, the ballot serves as the most suitable vehicle for achieving the nation’s shared dream of peace, justice, unity, and prosperity.
The former Nigerian leader stated that this year holds great possibilities and that Nigerians must harness the opportunities that lie within the length and breadth of the nation.
Jonathan also advised Nigerians to put the nation’s interests first in their conduct this year.
