The latest exchange is being spearheaded by the spokespersons for both JONATHAN and AMAECHI, with RENO OMOKRI firing in defence of JONATHAN and DAVID IYOFOR responding on behalf of the Transport Minister.
OMOKRI set off the exchange following an article in which he disparaged the Minister over his latest claim that forty-nine billion dollars had been stolen by Federal officials under the Jonathan Administration.
But in his reaction; IYOFOR described his tirade against ROTIMI AMAECHI as meaningless and nonsensical vituperations.
He said OMOKRI’s attack on ROTIMI AMAECHI, like similar efforts in the past, signposts a dark vengeful heart.
IYOFOR particularly picked on OMOKRI for calling the Minister a liar and for questioning his sanity; noting that it was actually the former Presidential aide who consistently lies through fake documents and circulation of fake news to deceive Nigerians.
He wandered whether ROTIMI AMAECHI was lying when he said in his recent interview that if the missing billions of dollars were deployed for developmental projects by former President JONATHAN, it would have resolved the deficit in infrastructure, including the funding of massive rail projects across the country.
DAVID IYOFOR further noted that if the Transport Minister lied and money was not missing as RENO OMOKRI claimed, how come billions of naira and foreign currencies are being recovered from top officials of the past Jonathan Administration?
