JOHESU Rivers State Defies Directive by National Leadership to Suspend Strike

It was expected that the state leadership of JOHESU would announce a suspension of the strike after a meeting in Port Harcourt, but the stakeholders resolved to first extract a written commitment from the state government to implement their demands.
State Chairman of JOHESU, Doctor CHRIS MBATA said the union would first engage with the state government before deciding on what next to do.
