ABDULMUMINI JUBRIN decided to expose the leadership of the House two weeks after he was removed as Chairman of the Committee on Appropriation by the Speaker of the House, YAKUBU DOGARA.
JUBRIN was alleged to have unduly influenced the inclusion of over four billion naira projects for his constituency alone; an allegation he denied, and also said he voluntarily resigned.
Responding to questions on Channels Television programme monitored in Port Harcourt, ABDULMUMINI JUBRIN maintained that his allegations against the leadership stand.
JIBRIN alleged that chairmen of ten standing committees inserted constituency projects worth two hundred and eighty-four billion naira into the 2016 budget without the knowledge of their members.
The embattled lawmaker further alleged that he was persuaded by the Speaker, YAKUBU DOGARA, to secretly smuggle twenty billion naira into the budget through Service Wide Vote.
ABDULMUMINI JUBRIN is the former Chairman of the Committee on Appropriation.
