Ivory Coast wins gold at World Taekwondo Championships in South Korea.

The gold medal came as a reward for RUTH GBAGBI after she beat Iran’s KIMIA ALIZADEH in the women’s lightweight final.

However; GBAGBI’s compatriot CHEICK SALLAH CISSE, who won gold in Rio last year, was not as lucky in South Korea.

Niger’s ABDOUL RAZAK ISSOUFOU also won gold, while Gabon’s ANTHONY OBAME picked a bronze medal.
