Ivory Coast Police release opposition leaders arrested after protesting against new constitution.

Among those briefly detained was the former speaker of the national assembly, MAMADOU KOULIBALY along with other well-known political figures.

Their arrest is reportedly as a result of the initial objection to a draft constitution which  favours President ALASSANE OUATTARA’s eligibility to run for president.

Meanwhile; Ivorians will vote in a referendum on whether to adopt it at the end of the month.
