The patient who is identified as a forty four year-old Italian was according to one of the health workers, angry at the poor state of the hospital and attempted to leave.
The patient had complained of excessive heat and mosquitoes in the hospital.
The health worker, who pleaded anonymity told newsmen that confirmed that the hospital was not in a good condition as promised by the government.
The source however said that contrary to claims by the Lagos state government, the readiness of the state against the virus is in a zero level.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, OBAFEMI HAMZAT, had said that the state government had built a facility to handle the situation, adding that the patient was getting better.
