A resident of the community who spoke with Today FM, said there is no explanation for the blackout in the community from relevant authorities.
The respondent who owns a barber shop, lamented that the profit he makes from his business is now used to purchase petrol, which he said is now very expensive.
Another resident of the community said the leadership of the area and chiefs of the community do not reside in the community and so do not care about the situation at hand.
Today FM reports that most communities in Ikwerre and Emouhua Local Government Areas of Rivers state have also been suffering power outage for several months.
