Iranian President HASSAN ROUHANI added that his country deeply regrets the shooting down of the Ukrainian airliner, which he described as a great tragedy and unforgivable mistake.
ROUHANI said Armed Forces’ internal investigation has concluded that regrettably, missiles fired due to human error caused the horrific crash of the Ukrainian plane and death of one hundred and seventy six innocent people.
Meanwhile; Canadian Prime Minister, JUSTIN TRUDEAU said his government expects the full cooperation of Iranian authorities in investigating the downing of Ukraine International Airlines Flight seven five two.
On his part, Russian President VLADMIR PUTIN said people, must learn lessons from the disaster.
The Ukrainian airliner had a hundred and seventy-six passengers on board.
