Details of the redeployment was contained in a statement issued by the National Commissioner and Chairman of Information and Voter Education Committee, Festus Okoye.
According to the statement the REC in Osun State, Olusegun Agbaje, has been redeployed to Ogun State while the REC in Ogun State, Professor Abdulganiy Olayinka, will take charge as REC in Osun State.
Similarly, the REC in Bayelsa State, Cyril Omorogbe has been redeployed to Cross River State, while Emannuel Alex Hart in Cross Rivers has been taken to Bayelsa state.
The REC in Zamfara State, Asmau Sani Maikudi, has also been redeployed to Kaduna State.
The statement noted that the redeployments are part of the commission’s routine administrative postings.
Meanwhile; the Director of Voter Education and Publicity, Nick Dazang, has proceeded on terminal leave as Victor Ayodele Aluko has been reassigned from Director of Administration to Voter Education and Publicity as Director.
