Colonel ILIYASU said those who are benefiting from the crisis in Ogoni have resorted to blackmailing officers of the Nigerian Army carrying out operations in the area.
The Spokesman of the Division said reports about Military officers molesting women in Ogoni are fabricated lies to discourage the operation of the army in ogoni.
He said the report is baseless and an attempt by some heartless groups in ogoniland to distract and possibly call for the withdrawal of the troops from Ogoni.
The authorities of 6 Division Nigerian Nigerian Army however warned all enemies of Ogoni people to change their cause or face the wrath of the law.
