In Rwanda, a legal huddle has been cleared for Rwandan President to seek another term in office.
This followed a ruling by Rwanda’s Supreme Court in favor of changing the constitution to allow for a third term for President PAUL KAGAME. The tenure elongation move had been challenged by Rwanda’s Green Party but its case to stop the President was dismissed by the Supreme Court.
Chief Justice SAM RUGEGE ruled that the petition has no basis.
