Force Public Relations Officer confirmed in a statement that a total of thirty-eight persons were arrested over the crisis that broke out on 8th of March.
It further revealed that eighteen of the detainees have been released unconditionally while twenty others are still undergoing investigation for onward arraignment in court.
The accused persons were paraded at the Force Headquarters in Abuja, some of whom were alleged to have taken part directly in the fracas or were found in possession of dangerous weapons thought to have been used in the clashes.
Some were also alleged found in possession of items that the police claimed were looted from vandalized shops during the bloody confrontation.
