The Chairman of Ikwerre Local Government Area, Charles Wobodo, has attributed his emergence as council chairman to the grace of God, reaffirming that his administration will continue to honour and uphold godly principles.
Wobodo made this known during the Annual Harvest Thanksgiving of the King of Apostles Catholic Church, Rumuepirikom, Port Harcourt, where he joined parishioners in worship and celebration.
Addressing the congregation, the chairman reiterated his commitment to supporting initiatives that promote spiritual growth, strengthen the Christian community, and enhance overall community development. He emphasized that his administration would remain aligned with values that uplift society.
Wobodo also participated actively in the thanksgiving activities, making a token contribution as an expression of gratitude to God. He commended the church for its significant role in nurturing moral values, fostering peace, and shaping the character of the community. He concluded with prayers for God’s continued blessings on the parish and its members.
