The Super Falcons camp in Casablanca, Morocco, has received a major boost with the arrival of forward Folashade Ijamilusi ahead of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
Ijamilusi, who plays for Chinese club Liaoning Shenyang Shenbei Hefeng, arrived on Tuesday, increasing the number of players in camp to 23 as preparations intensify for the continental tournament.
However, the arrivals of midfielder Deborah Abiodun and forward Gift Monday have been delayed after their scheduled flight from the United States was cancelled due to technical issues. The Nigeria Football Federation has arranged alternative travel plans, with both players expected to join the squad shortly.
The Super Falcons are continuing preparations under head coach Justine Madugu as they aim to defend their WAFCON title in Morocco.
