IGP IBRAHIM IDRIS has also mandated the deployment of Special X-Squad Teams to enforce the dismantling of the road blocks.
The police team is to ensure the removal of all forms of illegal obstructions on highways and roads, including those set up by revenue officials of government and transport unions.
The directive by the Inspector General of Police was announced in a statement by Force Public Relations Officer, JIMOH MOSHOOD, who is a Chief Superintendent of Police.
