Our Correspondent gathered that, Okpali Village, and Umuokechi, Umuekwune and Egwune families have been locked in a land dispute which started when an oil spill occurred on the disputed land.

Chief WONUWA advised the members of the affected families to maintain peace as they expect that Justice will prevail in the matter.
On his part, Chief INNOCENT NWOGU who doubles as a chief for two of the affected villages in the land dispute narrated the tradition of the land which he said makes it impossible for any person from Okpala to claim ownership of the disputed land.
