The commissioning of the two A202 300 series aircrafts takes the number of aircrafts in Ibom air to seven.
Speaking during the event in Akwaibom, Governor of the state, Udom Emmanuel said the state is the only state in Africa that owns and operates and airlines.
Also speaking, the Governor of Sokoto state, Amimu Tambuwal who commissioned the aircraft commended the Akwa ibom state Governor for making the Peoples Democratic party proud.
