Hurricane Harvey: Curfew imposed in Huston to enable rescue.

More than thirteen thousand people have been rescued in the affected areas, as thousands of people fled their homes in search of emergency shelter amid severe flooding.

The storm dumped record rainfall, leaving large parts of the city underwater, with homes destroyed and over twenty people reported dead.

Houston mayor SYLVESTER TURNER said the curfew was needed to head off looting in the fourth most populous city in the United States.

President DONALD TRUMP visited Texas yesterday to survey the damage brought by Hurricane Harvey, which he described as an epic storm.

The President and First Lady MELANIA were in Corpus Christi, where the storm first made landfall on Friday.
