Health Workers Return To Work In Rivers State-Owned Hospitals And Clinics After Five Weeks Of Strike.

Rising from a general meeting in Port Harcourt, JOHESU Chairman, CHRIS MBATA, directed members of the union to resume work tomorrow.
MBATA also commended the leadership of the NLC and TUC for intervening in the JOHESU faceoff with the Rivers State government.
The JOHESU leader also commended the Rivers State Government for embarking on the recruitment of new health workers, which he said puts an end to a long embargo on employment.
You will recall that when the government advertisement for vacancies in the health sector was first published in newspapers, it sparked concerns among JOHESU members.
