Headquarters of riot police in south-eastern Cizre been hit by a large car bomb.

Reports say the explosion killed eight policemen; injured seventy people and left the police headquarters in ruins.

The local media are blaming the Kurdistan Workers Party, also known as the PKK, for the attack.
