Our correspondent gathered that after the incident that claimed the lives of the Paramount ruler of Elibrada community, Eze AUGUSTIN AMADIONU and another who was beheaded, unknown gunmen have also stormed Oduoha-Emohua to abduct a man identified as ORUKWE.
The suspected cultists thereafter invaded Ishiodu community still in Emohua to attack a rival cult gang where they fired sporadic gunshots and destroyed some properties.
The Chairman of Emohua Local Government Area has subsequently met with traditional rulers, chiefs, youth leaders and Heads of Security Agencies in the eight communities over the issues.
Addressing the gathering at the council secretariat, Chief TOM ALIEZI declared that there will be no hiding place for cultists and other criminal elements disturbing the peace and security the area.
ALIEZI also announced the mobilization of security agencies to clamp down on the perpetrators of criminality activities within the local government area just as he encouraged community leaders to assist the security agencies with reliable Information that could lead to the apprehension of the criminals.
The Emohua Council Boss also frowned at the resurgence of cult activities which he said has led to several deaths but warned that any one found wanting in the on-going investigation will be made to face the full weight of the law.
