The fresh attack comes barely one week after seventeen family members who were said to be on their way to the farm at Udawa village in Chikun Local Government Area of the state were kidnapped.
While the police authorities are yet to confirm the incident, eyewitnesses told newsmen that the attack occurred in the early when the gunmen invaded the community and started shooting sporadically while the residents were still sleeping.
A resident of the community, Abdulsalam Haruna, whose wife and four children were kidnapped, said the gunmen invaded his house and forced the door open before gaining access into his apartment and later took away his five family members.
He added that the gunmen abducted 2 of his neigbour’s children and attacked 2 other houses.
The gunmen were said to have escaped with the victims before the arrival of security operatives.
