The group also urged the Federal government appeal the said judgment without delay.
In a statement by its National Coordinator, Chief GAMI TOPBA, the group commended the courage of the Federal Government led by President MUHAMMADU BUHARI which it said has continued to show compassion to the Ogoni course by resisting alleged pressure by SPDC and Royal Dutch Shell to renew the license of OML 11.
The group also called on Amnesty International, the International Criminal Court, the Niger Delta people and men of goodwill all over the world to hold SPDC and Royal Dutch Shell responsible should any harm come to any section of the Ogoni, particularly with respect to what it described as the desperate scheme by SPDC to re-enter Ogoniland against the wishes of the people.
