Sebastian Kpalap and Arochukwu Ogbonna who are plaintiffs in the suit want the Rivers State Government and the Accountant General of the State to make available documents containing the expenses of the construction of other past and on-going projects in the state in compliance with democratic tenets of Accountability to the citizenry
Presiding Judge, Justice James Omotosho adjourned the matter till 22nd of February for hearing, after Counsel to the plaintiffs Victor Nweke informed the court of a counter affidavits served to them by the counsel to the defendants who they are yet to respond.
Speaking to newsmen outside the court, Counsel to the plaintiffs, Victor Nweke disclosed the reasons why his clients are in court.
Correspondent Uchendu Ejiowhor reports that the Rivers State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Zaccheus Adangor who is the Counsel representing the Rivers state government and the Accountant General of the state, declined to speak to newsmen on the matter.
